Newport celebrated Independence Day with a community-wide celebration featuring a fireworks display over the White River, live music at Front Street Entertainment Park, food vendors, carnival rides, and patriotic ceremonies honoring veterans and active military.

The event was organized by the City of Newport with support from local businesses and civic organizations.
