A Personal Welcome
Message from the Director
Julie Allen, Executive Director
The Newport Area Chamber of Commerce invites you explore Newport and Jackson County! Our community has wonderful opportunities for tourism, shopping, entertainment and so much more. Find out why we are one of the few communities our size that has two eighteen-hole golf courses, a state park and museum, two annual festivals and a host of community cultural activities for families. Stay a while and you'll find that living and doing business in Jackson County combines the best of small town living and convenience. Located just 90 miles from both Memphis and Little Rock, big city life is close enough to enjoy, but far enough away that it doesn't impact the enjoyment of living in a small town. Whether you visit Newport for a day or a lifetime, we know you are bound to enjoy your stay!
